Key findings

In 2025-26 Austrade facilitated:

  • 2,404 export deals valued at $8.8 billion, an increase of 26 per cent on the previous year.
  • 88 trade events in partnership with 40 industry peak bodies through the Accessing New Markets Initiative.
  • 115 investment projects valued at $15.4 billion, supporting 19,093 jobs – a record result.
  • $9 billion in investment, across 62 projects aligned with Australia's decarbonisation priorities.
  • $5 billion in investment, across 53 projects supporting Australia's economic security through new capabilities in areas such as critical technologies, quantum technologies and digital infrastructure.
  • Almost 1,000 export deals across Southeast Asia and South Asia worth more than $3 billion.
  • Through the Southeast Asia Investment Deals Team, Austrade, Export Finance Australia and DFAT supported Australian investments into the region worth $3.6 billion.
