Genetec opens state-of-the-art Experience Centre in Australia

Canada’s Genetec has opened a new office and Experience Centre in Sydney. The state-of-the-art centre, named SYXC, features solutions from Genetec and its partners. Genetec develops solutions to improve security, intelligence and operations for enterprises, governments and communities.

Operating as a fully functioning Security Operations Centre, it will showcase:

• video management
• access control
• licence plate recognition
• security and communications management
• secure cloud services
• IoT alarms.

The Experience Centre also has a training centre and workspace. It will be a hub for Genetec’s partners and customers in Australia and New Zealand. It is the company’s eighth Experience Centre worldwide.

Genetec’s new centre is located at Tech Central in Sydney. The 250,000-square-metre precinct has 3 innovation clusters: biomedical, deep tech, and digital and creative.
