Visas and immigration

Information on visas for individuals and businesses seeking to invest, set up or run a business in Australia.

Visa regulations can change so investors should review options regularly. Australia's Department of Home Affairs has full details.

Visas for business people

Our business visas include visas for people undertaking a business visit. This includes executives seeking to purchase or manage a business in Australia. See:

Employer-sponsored visas

Australia allows businesses to sponsor visas for skilled workers from overseas. This includes workers who have skills in specific occupations or have specific qualifications. See Business-sponsored visas.

Employer-sponsored labour agreements

Employers may need a skill that is not on the list of approved occupations. If a genuine skills shortage exists, the Australian Government may establish a formal labour agreement.
